Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a gentle, natural healing practice that works with energy. The word comes from two Japanese words: Rei, meaning “spiritually guided,” and Ki, meaning “life force energy.” Put together, Reiki means spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki helps to calm the nervous system, release stress, and create balance in the mind, body, and spirit. During a session, I lightly place my hands either just above or gently on the body. Many people describe feeling warmth, tingling, or simply a deep sense of peace and relaxation. Others notice emotions releasing or clarity returning. Reiki always works for your highest good and meets you exactly where you are.

Reiki is not a religion. There are no beliefs you need to adopt to benefit from it. You can come from any background, faith, or perspective and still experience the deep calm and renewal Reiki brings.
Reiki was founded in Japan in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui, who devoted his life to teaching and sharing it. From Japan, it spread throughout the world and is now practiced everywhere—in homes, wellness centers, and even hospitals—as a gentle, complementary therapy.
At its heart, Reiki is simple. It’s energy flowing to where it’s needed most—restoring balance, encouraging relaxation, and helping you feel more like yourself again. People often leave a session feeling lighter, clearer, and more at peace.

Reiki is one of the ways I support my clients in reconnecting with themselves, finding calm, and creating space for transformation. It’s a soft, nurturing practice, and it can have a profound impact on how you feel—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
